Children's ministry information:
AWANA
Every Wednesday evening
during the school year (except during Advent and Lent)
Powerful Bible truths taught at age-appropriate levels, interactive Bible lessons, crazy-fun games and precious time memorizing God's Word! Our students, as a whole, have been known to recite over 1000 Bible verses in an AWANA year! The kids are excited to learn the Bible through the AWANA program and to bring friends!

YOUNG DISCIPLES

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
4 years - 3rd Grade
Late July
9 a.m. - 11 a.m.

The VBS you know and love! Bible stories, meaningful crafts, silly games, worship music and epic skits highlight this special week for children.

CHILDREN'S MUSICAL
Children from our church ranging from kindergarten to 6th grade perform a meaningful musical twice a year, usually during Christmas and Easter. This is a huge highlight for them and a time they get to take the stage to share their faith!
Youth and Child Protection Information
We are committed to ensuring our children and youth are in a safe environment with adults who love and care for them in appropriate ways. Our staff and volunteers are required to complete the following background check information and training.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

kids through Bible teachings.
CAMP VBS
Vacation Bible School meets Camp!
3 days and 2 nights in June
for students exiting 4th, 5th or 6th grade
The Ascension church grounds become the "camp" and mature teen leaders serve as "camp counselors", with supervision, of course. In addition, several adults from our church plug-in to challenge students to grow in their walk with Jesus! It is an experience like no other and we'd love for your student to join us.
In addition to faith-building activities, there are service projects and off-site trips (such as laser tag, fishing, tubing, and swimming!).
