| Worship at Ascension is alive with praise of our living Lord. We acknowledge that God's children meet Him in different styles of worship, so we offer 3 distinct types of liturgy - or orders of worship. We have a traditional Lutheran worship at 8:15 on Sunday mornings, where we sing hymns of old with the organ and piano together. Our 11:00 worship is contemporary, with praise and worship songs from the 80's, 90's and present. A worship team leads the singing, accompanied by a piano, drums, guitars, bass and more!
Our Wednesday night service (during the summer) has elements of both these services, as it is meant to be an alternative time of worship for those seeking to be a part of a church community but who cannot come on Sunday morning. Throughout each worship service, we gather around the living, true Word of our Lord, for nourishment, instruction and strength.
